The pores of AAC products can reach 70% to 85%, the volume density is generally 500 to 900kg/m3, the quality is 1/5 of ordinary concrete, 1/4 of clay brick, 1/3 of hollow brick, and the same as wood, can float in water. It can effectively reduce the building's own weight, improve the seismic resistance of the building, and greatly reduce the comprehensive cost of the building.
AAC products have excellent sound insulation and sound absorption due to the unique multi-microporous structure in their materials. The weighted sound insulation volume of 10mm thick wall can reach 41dB to meet the sound insulation requirements of different buildings.
AAC products benefit from the special multi-microporous structure of its materials, and have good thermal insulation performance. The dry thermal conductivity (λ) of AAC products ranges from about 0.11-0.16W/mK, which is 1/4-1/5 of clay bricks. Generally, the thermal insulation effect of 20cm thick aerated concrete wall is equivalent to that of 49cm thick ordinary solid clay brick wall.
